Our team of experienced joiners and furniture sprayers combine the finest raw materials with the latest high tech woodworking machinery and rigorous quality control procedures to ensure that each iCube product is produced to high standards.
Materials
We only use environmentally friendly, super-sturdy, FSC approved Medite MDF wood. Medite MDF wood is high quality, non-toxic, strong and extremely durable. Its surface is ultra smooth and is perfect for painting, staining or lacquering. iCube products can be purchased in the unfinished wood version or in our fantastic range of colours. iCube Colours products are sprayed by professional finishers using industrial quality, non-toxic, waterbased satin finish paints. These paints produce an extremely durable, smooth, mid-sheen finish.
Quality
All of our products are hand made, one at a time. Sheets of high grade 15mm Medite MDF wood are cut to size and assembled into shape on high tolerance woodworking jigs. We join the wood together with 35mm steel pins and a high strength bonding resin. The iCube Colours range are filled and sanded smooth prior to painting and are professionally sprayed with 1 coat of special MDF primer and then 2 topcoats of high quality waterborne satin finish paints with rub downs between each coat. Our range of plain MDF wood finish products may contain glue marks from the manufacturing process and are designed to be finished and customised by the end user.
Sustainability
All of our products are individually wrapped in recyclable air-cushioning and then packed into 100% recycled, ultra heavy duty, corrugated, double-wall cardboard boxes.
